These codes however, do not apply to Sony Ericsson Smartphones (most of which run Android) for reasons everyone knows. If you have a SE feature phone, then try them, you may have a surprise.

1 *#06#, (, not included, same below) shows your phone’s IMEI number (International Mobile Equipment Identity). Seems every phone has this code and everyone knows it.

2 >*<<*<*, shows some secret menu about SE phone, such as firmware version, service information and status etc.

3 0#, shows the last called number.

4 < 0 0 0 0>, restore the default theme and language.

5 < * * <, shows network information and SIM lock as well.

6 **04*0000*0000*0000# followed by on ‘Wrong Pin’ number, start a SE phone without SIM card inserted.

7 any number and then #, shortcut to contacts stored on phone book.

8 904059 + > (to exit 3 + <), shows phone test screen.

9 <- * * <-, lock status.
